The 2011 Swiss Workshop on Materials with Novel Electronic Properties is the ninth edition of a series of Swiss Workshops on Superconductivity and Novel Materials which were held since 1996. The meeting will bring together researchers working in Switzerland in the field of Materials with Novel Electronic Properties. The workshop is to act as a forum promoting research and applications in this area.

The program will be designed along the following themes :

·  Strongly interacting electrons, low dimensional and quantum fluctuation dominated systems
·  Superconductivity, unconventional mechanisms and novel materials
·  Crystal growth
·  Cold atoms
·  Thin films and artificial materials
·  Applied superconductivity
·  Sensors and novel devices
·  June 28th : One day tutorials for students on scanning probes, crystal growth and thin films
